What you get paid

How we calculate our share

Our share is calculated by taking a percentage of the list price plus a fixed charge. The fixed charge is $4.95 per unit and the percentage of the list price varies depending on where each sale occurs.

For example...

If you sold a CD with a list price of $25.00 through a eStore, you would earn a royalty of $16.30. The calculation is as follows:

% Share for eStore$3.75 (15% of $25)

What you pay for

Proof copies

The cost for a proof copy is the same as the cost for a single disc, plus shipping and handling. You are asked to pay this amount when you place your order.

Member Orders

Orders purchased through your account for your title are referred to as "Member Orders."

Receive volume discounts on your Member Orders by purchasing multiple copies of the same CD and shipping them to a single address, in a single order.

A few important notes about Member Orders:

You pay the fixed charge minus a volume discount if the order is for 50 or more copies of the same audio CD.
You pay for your CDs at the time of ordering.
You don't earn royalties when you purchase your own title.
Sales tax may apply to your order.
Member pricing only applies to orders placed through your account for your own titles.
Shipping times do not include the manufacture of your order. This will be calculated when you place your order.
Orders are shipped from the continental U.S. For non-U.S. orders, allow additional time for customs processing and delivery to areas outside major cities. Import duties and taxes may be levied upon delivery.
Priority and Expedited options are not available for U.S. P.O. Boxes

Design Your Artwork Online

Cover Creator is the hassle-free way to create great-looking artwork. Design all five pieces of your artwork for a consistent, polished finished product: inside and outside booklets, inside and outside tray cards, and your disc face artwork.

Start with one of our professional designs and customize your artwork using your own photos, logos, and text. If you need images for your artwork, you can browse our image gallery and use these photos in your Cover Creator artwork.

Create your own custom disc face and jewel case artwork, and then upload it to your account for use with your audio CDs.

Submission requirements
Your artwork can only be uploaded as a JPEG file in RGB color mode. The resolution of all images must be 300 DPI.

Disc face artwork

We print your disc face artwork all the way to the disc hub (or inner hole) in full-color. The disc face is covered by the artwork you upload, with a small barcode added at bottom.

Submission requirements

To ensure the highest possible audio quality, we recommend uploading files in AIFF format.
Your content must adhere to our Copyright Guidelines, Content Guidelines and Member Agreement.

Accepted digital formats

Uncompressed AIFF (44.1 KHz, 16- bit, 2-channel stereo files required)

Preparing files to upload

All audio files must be uploaded as a single .ZIP archive.
All audio file names must begin with a numeral, may not exceed 100 characters, and may not include any of the following reserved characters: < > : " / \ | ? * ' +
Tracks must be sequentially numbered without any gaps in numbering.
- Example: 01-First Song.AIFF, 02-Second Song.AIFF, 03-Third Song.AIFF, etc.
All audio file names must end in an appropriate dot extension: (.AIFF or .AIF)
The total number of audio tracks submitted must match the number indicated when you set up your title.
Track length and total runtime must adhere to the Red Book audio CD standard.

Copyright Guidelines

Our member agreement requires that you own or have obtained all rights to any content you deliver to us. Please do not send us any content for which you do not own or have not obtained all rights. Our member agreement allows us to reject or remove content from our service, and we have rejected past submissions for rights issues.

If you are unsure if you own the rights to the materials you wish to submit to Kaotics Management Group, please consult an attorney.
